Barclays Natural Resource Investments finances the internal growth and acquisitions/development of businesses and assets through this company. As an integral part of our partnership with management teams, we expect them to invest alongside BNRI in their ventures. This is crucial to properly align interests between ourselves and management.

With the management and the necessary financial backing securely in place, the main sources of growth often come from identifying acquisition and development opportunities that are undervalued or not suited to current owners. The management team’s deep understanding of the fundamentals, relevant technologies, geographies, economic trends and investment cycles enables these profit opportunities to be taken.

By making capital available as needed, management are not distracted with periodic finance raising and remain focused upon achieving the business objectives.
